Every cloud has a silver lining.

Mum always says the best stuff comes after the tough times. When we decided we wanted a Cavoodle, we didn't just sit around dreaming about it—we went door to door selling Ribbonties!

We got super obsessed with getting a Cavoodle after looking after our cousin's dog, Honey. So, we made this poster that said, “We're trying to buy a dog. Please help us!” and started knocking on doors.

One by one, people kept saying no. After each one, JJ would shout, “We got rejected!” But we didn't give up. We just kept knocking.

Then we knocked on the door of one of Mum's spray tan clients. When we told her about wanting a Cavoodle, she literally gasped! Turns out, her friend was rehoming a two-year-old Cavoodle named Freddie.

Two days later, we met him. A week later, he was ours!

Every “no” just brought us closer to our “yes.”

That's the silver lining—rejection is just protection. When things get tough, your rainbow is probably just around the corner. You just have to keep going.
